Liqui-Matic
products use patented process to eliminate scale and corrosion from
water systems. The technology is applicable to domestic lines and to
closed loop heating and cooling systems. The device was developed in
1993 by two engineers in Texas to stop scale in plumbing pipes and
hardware. Testing showed it could be used in closed loop systems for
scale and corrosion control. It can also be used as a clean-up device.

A
major college in Texas put a gallon of Liqui-Matic treated water on a
shelf for one year. At the end of the year, it still maintained its
properties from Liqui-Matic. It doesn't matter how far the treated
water travels through your system, it does not revert back to its
original state; it continues to clean your entire system.
Liqui-Matic
treats waters from a probe mounted inside the pipe. It uses a pulsed
electronic signal from a power supply box and does not rely on
magnets. Most other electronic technologies are supported by magnets
treating water from outside the pipes. The results at point of contact
are similar, but as the changed molecule travels away from the magnets,
it reverts back to its original form. Using the pipes as a run for the
electrical wires or grounding also has a negative effect on magnetic
technology. There may also be additional costs for magnet
replacements. (Source - Federal Technology Alerts, US Department of
Energy - Non-chemical technologies for Scale and Hardness Control).

No
chemical treatment is required. There are no other equipment costs.
The cost of the Liqui-Matic equipment can usually be recovered from
savings on chemical within six months to two years of installation.
Liqui-Matic equipment was designed and is manufactured in the USA.
